- To make it easier for new players to find a game, the Play Now button on the home page now directly links to Africa and we've added a big 'Start Game' button. This will accept any open challenge or create a random new one.
- Removed gold membership, all features are now available for everyone.
- For now the army selection has been disabled, when you join an army is automatically selected for you. This is because people seem to like the color red more than the color blue and this is causing an unbalance in the armies.
- Help has been updated.

If you play a desert map outside of Africa you have a big change that your encounter factory tiles.
These factory tiles are worth 50 points and can be decisive in any battle.

- The game and forum now supports non-latin character sets (like Chinese, Japanese...) in all user editable text fields
- Fixed the 'keep me logged in' checkbox (clicking on a link in an e-mail would override this)
- Extended 'keep me logged in' to keep you logged in for 90 instead of 30 days
- Continue game list is now sorted so that games that require your move are at the top
- Updated Rules / Attacking help

Every now and then when you logged into your game, the game would automatically end your turn. This is fixed now (be sure to clear your browsers cache if you still get the problem).
